INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN (PLANT)

Installation, maintenance, and repair of HV equipment such as transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and cables.- Switching operations and isolation procedures on HV networks (typically 11kV to 400kV) Testing and fault-finding using insulation resistance testers, TTR, and high-voltage test sets. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and protection drawings. Compliance with safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work systems.
