Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems is essential.  Power Systems Expertise:- HV/EHV substations, transmission lines, and grid integration  Protection and control systems, SCADA, and SAS- HV Substation Design & Construction:  Experience with EHV substations (up to 500kV), including GIS, transformers, MV switchgear, and SAS systems  Project Engineering & Execution: Ability to lead  EPC projects, manage schedules and quality control.- Safety & Compliance: Deep understanding of HV safety protocols, switching procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., SEC, Aramco, IEC).

Substation and Transmission Line Design: Including layout, equipment sizing, insulation coordination, and earthing systems.- Load Flow, Fault Level, and Arc Flash Studies: Using tools like ETAP, Dig SILENT Power Factory, or PSCAD.- Protection Scheme Design: Coordination of relays, CT/VT sizing, and breaker ratings.- Familiarity with Standards: IEC 61936, IEEE C37, SEC, Aramco, and SABIC specification CAD and BIM Tools: AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, and EPLAN for schematics and layouts.
